Band For Hire London - The Nameless Three - FAQs

How much space do you need?

Ideally we need a 5x3m space or larger to accommodate the band, pa system and lighting rig. We have played in many different venues and spaces, from basements to barns and are well versed at making the most of the space available to us so if you are unsure then please contact us.

Where will you travel to?

We are London based and happy to travel anywhere to play, for events further afield we would require accommodation.

Can I see you play live?

As primarily a function band playing private events it can be difficult to find a time for you to see us play, we endeavour to book at least half a dozen public shows a year and publicise this on our Facebook page.

Will you learn our first dance?

We will always try to learn your first dance if requested, however not all songs will fit with our style or sound. e.g. A track containing lots of horns/strings would not necessarily work with our instrumentation. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have a request to allow us ample time to try and construct an arrangement of the song.

Can we use your PA to play music between sets and after you play?

Yes, you can play your own music or we can provide music in between our sets and for the hour after we finish playing. If you require use of the PA for longer then we would be happy to do this but there would be an additional fee.

How long do you play for?

We will usually play for 2 hours, either as 2x1hr sets or 3x40 minute sets but we are flexible to work around your needs.

How long do you take to setup/soundcheck?

Assuming there is easy access to your venue we would ideally we need 90 minutes from time of arrival to load in, setup and soundcheck.

Do the band have PLI and PAT certificates?

Yes, we have full public liability insurance and all of our equipment is PAT tested.

What is the bands power requirements?

We need at least 2 domestic style three-pin 13a plug sockets, preferably at either side of the performance area. If possible sockets should be supplied from separate ring circuits so that power is evenly distributed. Total power loading will not exceed 5kW and we will probably use much less than this.

Do you provide lighting for your performance?

Yes, we have a stage lighting setup as well as some led effects lighting for the dance floor.
